First Communion Instruction Class

Children (and parents) in the second grade and older are invited to participate in First Communion Instruction. This year we will use the Augsburg Fortress resource Fed & Forgiven: Communion Preparation and Formation. At the table of our Lord Jesus Christ, God nourishes faith, forgives sin, and calls us to be witnesses to the gospel. The class will deepen our children’s understanding of and love for the gift of Holy Communion.

The class will meet in room #209 (across from the kitchen). Lunch is provided. Bring your Bible. Each student will have their first opportunity to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion with their family on Maundy Thursday, which is March 29th at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm.
