The Fellowship team is hosting a Trunk or Treat event October 31, 4:30-6pm. We need your help, your candy donations, and your participation. See how YOU can help prepare, invite, and collect everything and everyone we need!
We need you to decorate your car trunk and give out candy at your parked car. You’re invited to dress up in costume too. This event is open to the Chapin community, so we need lots of participants. There is no right or wrong way to decorate a trunk, it can be as simple or detailed as you want. Please sign-up at the Welcome Desk in the narthex.
We need Candy! Everyone please donate bags of wrapped candy to supplement the candy handed out by the car participants. There will be a pumpkin container in the narthex to collect bags of candy through October 24.
We need you to bring canned goods to the event for our We Care collection. The Youth Group will be stationed at the outdoor worship area carving pumpkins and collecting your donations.
The trunk-or-treaters will park in the parking area behind the church and walk over to the East Boundary Street event area. If you are decorating your trunk, please be here by 3:30 to be sure we’re safely parked and ready. Children will be dressed in their Halloween costumes and will walk through the parking lot, stopping at cars that have decorated trunks and receive candy. If you do not have a decorated trunk, you are invited to come and bring a chair to sit and watch the whole event. Everyone is welcome and invited to participate.
